I am an international development professional with experience in education, gender, social accountability, public finance and monitoring and evaluation. I currently work as a consultant with the education section with UNICEF at their headquarters.

I have experience in both academia and the field working in Pakistan and elsewhere. I write about international development issues, Pakistan (my country of origin) as well as the US (my adoptive country) and everywhere in between.

I also write about other things that interest me, especially my beloved Manchester United Football Club and Pakistan Cricket Team.
